  • I passed, I passed, I passed woohoo..........I've done it!!!!!

    I've passed my Maths exam.............:D

I now have a GCSE equivalent to a grade C or above and I am over the moon.

Not only did I manage to pass I got the highest mark in the class too................I'm ecstatic.

So I'm off to celebrate with a shop brought curry and a night in front of Big Brother, with no guilt that I should be revising

  • Well I still don't look like Kate Moss :(

But I have only been to the gym twice :DD

I'm seriously thinking that I'm not going to look any different by the time I go on holiday on the 10th July - unless I starve myself, which is highly unlikely ;)

I'm mad busy revising at the moment for my final Maths exam on Friday 88|
I only got 74% in the Algebra exams which to date is my worst mark - I've never got lower than 90% before. I guess Algebra's not my strong point.

So that's all really - any tips on losing about half a stone and turning a jelly belly, stretched by two pregnancies into a washboard in just under 2 weeks would be gratefully recieved..........

  • Exam stress :o(

I've been awol for a while, I've 2 algebra exams on Friday and to say I'm getting stressed is the understatement of the year.....!

I don't seem to be able to put sentences into equations for the life of me.

Last night I actually cried out of sheer frustration.
    Not good.

On a slightly cheerier note I've rejoined the gym, yay.
The leg doesn't seem to be improving much. I still can't run on it.
So I've had my induction and assesment and have a program to get me looking like Kate Moss by my hols on 10th July :DD

Grace has been poorly with Tonsilitis, and I mean poorly. The little love had a horrid weekend, and it was so hot trying to keep her temp down was a nightmare. She's on antibiotics now and back to school today.
It's amazing how one minute they can be at deaths door then the next they seem fine, whereas us oldies seem to take an age to recover and regain our energy.

Tom's been fine, well fine for Tom ;D

So all's well, although I'll feel a lot better once all these maths exams are finally over - roll on 1st July.....

  • I'm leaving on a jet plane.......and I don't know IF I'll be back again....

    I'm off on holiday....

Alas not until the 10th July though, I have a small matter of 4 maths exams before I go :**:

I'm off to Puerto Banus in Spain to a 4 star hotel, without the children ;D Only for 5 days, but it's going to be 5 days of bliss, although I'm sure I'll miss them like mad.

We are taking the children away, just so that I don't feel too guilty, in August we are off to stay on a farm in Cornwall for a week. They'll love that.

I'm having to go back into college tonight to collect some work that's been marked, ready to put into my portfolio. I'm going to take Grace, I popped in last night to collect some work and she came and she loved it - she's so nosey!

OMG only 3 weeks till my big maths exam 88|

  • Yesterday I was 30........

......and it wasn't as bad as I thought!

Infact I had rather a nice day.

I was at work, then I popped into college to hand in some work, which was fine so very relieved, it was that big Biology assignment.
So that's college on a wednesday night finished now just 2 maths lessons and 4 exams and the first years over yay!

Then we went out for a curry, with some friends and my sister in law and that was very nice.

I got some great presents.........a holiday without the kids from Giles :DD we are going on the 10th July somewhere hot and by the beach! I also got a 1 hour aromatherapy body massage, a Mulberry hand bag £220 in cash, some tops, some underwear, a membership to Hampton Court Palace and some flowers!

So all in all a great birthday.

  • The neighbour from hell

Our house is on the right hand end of a row of three.
Our road is mostly quiet at night. During the day it can be quite busy, it's a residential road and the parking is dreadful. There are two schools just around the corner and a large recreational park just around another corner.
Most of the houses in the vicinity have little children and the people behind us have teenage boys.
Of course in the better weather we all enjoy being in our gardens, so it can be quite noisy!

On the right hand side of my house seperated by my drive is a house split into two flats. On the bottom are Bob and Jackie a lovely couple who've been there for a number of years. The flat above has changed hands a few times since we moved in almost 2 years ago.
At the moment there is a single guy in his 40's living in there.
Within the last few weeks there have been a couple of incidents in the road. Firstly someones car alarm was going off at about midnight one friday night a few weeks ago. Annoying yes, but these things happen unfortunately. Anyhow the guy from the flat next door (I'll call him F) went out onto the little balcony he has and started shouting and swearing at the bloke who's car alarm was going off, a tad ott to be honest. Calling him a f***ing moron......anyhow the bloke reset the alarm and went in, low and behold about 5 minutes later it started again again F was out there ranting and raving for the bloke to put the car on his drive, rather than leaving it out in the road. The bloke explained that he was staying overnight with friends, but agreed to move the car.
On the Sunday night of the same weekend, Again early hours of the morning I could hear shouting and banging and swearing. I looked out of my bedroom window and saw F standing on his balcony shouting, swearing and carrying on. He then threw something from the window which smashed onto the road......it went on for a while then he shut up.

Jackie from the flat below called round a few days later and I asked her what his problem was - she said they'd had nothing but trouble from him since he moved in, loud music very late, shouting, banging the toilet seat and generally being a pain.

Anyhow, last night about 9pm, there's loads of banging on our front door. Giles answered and it was F.
He came round to complain about the noise the children make in the back garden. Bearing in mind the children had been in bed since 7pm and are every night without fail, we thought it a bit odd. He was very drunk.
He explained that we ought to have more respect for the people around us!
Being that he was drunk Giles just said yeah yeah whatever....and shut the door.
He then went out in his van - absolutely pissed as a fart.

He returned about 30 minutes later and parked across our drive, sat there tooting his horn and driving backwards and forwards across the drive. Giles went out and took his reg no and said if he woke the kids we'd be annoyed.
We came in and called the police and reported the drunk driving and the fact that he'd been around being a nuisance.

    He went out again.

He returned about 11.30. His window that's at the top of the stairs leading into his lounge is opposite the window at the top of our stairs and he just stood there staring into our house, I saw this because I was going up for a bath. I ignored him and went and had a bath, while I was in the bath Giles had been out in the garden having a cigarette, and F's lounge windows overlook our back garden. Giles said he was opening and closing the windows and shouting abuse to Giles, then he shouted "you two are dead".

Understandably we double checked everything was locked and went to bed thinking that ignoring it is probably the best course of action.
He continued shouting and banging the windows, but must have got fed up and eventually it went quiet.

This morning I have been on to the agent who let the property and the woman couldn't believe what I was telling her. She's going to contact the landlord and they'll get him out, but they need to do it in a way which won't alert him to the fact that we've complained. It may take a few months to get him out and we all have to continue to live there..........I have a feeling this won't be the last we've heard of him.
